Anthurium or Flamingo Lily as it is also known - is a widely popular flower native to the tropical rainforests of South and Central America. This beautiful plant can grow up to 3 feet tall. The Anthurium has beautiful bright-coloured blooms lasting up to eight weeks. These flowers are incredibly low maintenance; once they establish their roots they only need to be watered every two weeks and fertilized twice a year. In addition, anthuriums have fleshy leaves that remain green all around the year and do not require pruning or trimming. They are also ideal for indoors as they don't need much sunlight in order to thrive, making them an excellent choice for those looking for a resilient yet aesthetically pleasing houseplant for their home or office.
